Looking in the manual for the motherboard, it doesn't give any info on configuring the TPM on the page where it tells you how to install the module, it says to refer to the TPM manual for more info. Secure Boot can be enabled when platform is in User Mode. I read somewhere that Secure Boot needs to be enabled, when I go to that page I see "System Mode: Setup" and "Secure Boot: Not Active". Both "TPM Support" and "TPM State" are enabled, but Windows does not see the TPM in the Device Manager. I have the 914-4136-105 TPM 2.0 Module installed on the motherboard, and after install I have the "Trusted Computing" option available under Security Settings in BIOS. I am currently running an older MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate motherboard with an i5-4590.
I am trying to get a TPM functioning on my machine, so that I can use Bitlocker wtihout having to enter a password every time my system starts up.
